Why do we do what we do?

Any human being is able to be that change, each one of us is way more powerful than we think we are, and from that belief and hope in the humanity “Seeding Amazon” was born.

Who is behind Seeding Amazon?

The need of uniting people to act in order to preserve and restore the Amazon Forest it’s not something recent or an individual thinking. We’re the result and action of a common will, of our investors, partners and most of all you.

How does it work?

You choose a native tree suggested by our experts.

Acquires the power of seeding through our shop.

We prepare the soil and provide the ideal conditions for that area go back to how it used to be before the deforestation.

Now let’s take care of the tree seedling and assure that it will grow healthily in a sustainable environment.

Taperebá

The tree, which can reach up to 25 meters in height, has a yellow-orange fruit, with an acidic and tasty pulp.

Samaúma

Sacred to several Brazilian indigenous peoples, the Samaúma is considered the queen tree of the Amazon.

Brazilian Mahogany

The Brazilian mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla) is a native Amazonian tree, known worldwide for its wood.

Cumaru

Cumaru is a plant native to the Amazon. Its fruit is widely traded, and is internationally known as fava beans.

Cajuaçu

The cashew tree has a very appreciated pseudo-fruit, considered even better than the common cashew, which is more widespread in Brazil.

Pará Nut

Castanheira-do-pará is one of the largest trees in the Amazon, reaching between 30 and 45 meters in height.

Açaí

Açaí is the name of two species of palm, whose fruit produces a pulp called “wine” of açaí, with a violet color and strong flavor.

Buriti

The buriti or miriti can reach up to 30 meters in height and have a stem with a thickness of up to 50 cm in diameter.

Yellow Ipe

The Yellow Ipe (Scientific Name Handroanthus albus) is a tree species 20-30 m tall and 40-60 cm in diameter.

Jatobá

Jatobá (scientific name Hymenaea sp.) is a canopy tree that can grow up to 40 meters in height.

Ucuuba

Folk medicine, relief from rheumatism, arthritis, stomach pain caused by gas, and dyspepsia.

Paricá

Used in the manufacture of various furniture. And also for soil recovery from degraded pastures.

Copaíba

It works as an anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and natural healing and as a stimulating action of the immune system.

Cedro

It is used to be used externally in cases of ulcers and wounds. In addition to building furniture.

Andiroba

Its oil is well known as andiroba balm. Used to treat rheumatism, muscle fatigue.
