The flora existent in the forest restoration area must be analyzed to guide the choice of species to be planted, ensuring adaptation to the region and its eventual restoration. Note that the regeneration process already occurs naturally, especially close to the stream, due to the appearance of animals and the conditions and humidity. In the image on the right, it is possible to observe a fragment of forest in the area of influence of the stream, where a pioneer species can be identified, Embaúba (Cecropia sp), which is a remnant of native vegetation.

In the higher areas of the reserve, the forest fragments are minimal, with a predominance of shrub species, but there are some native trees already, seen in the image on the side, where we can see a yellow Ipê (Tabebuia serratifolia) with fruits (pods).

The forest fragments were analyzed through satellite images (ArcGIS.Imagery) and quantified using ArcGIS software, as seen below.
